I’m so happy I could be a part of this fun segment this morning, with Kidd and Autria, on the set of Good Morning Washington at WJLA Studios! As part of their Workout Wednesday series, we discussed building up arm strength and muscle. We even tried out some easy exercises that can be done at home with small barbells or everyday items, such as a jug of laundry detergent! I hope you enjoy it and get a little extra motivation to squeeze in some arm exercises during your daily routine.
Here are a few tips to help you gain more arm muscle:
1. Eat more food (especially protein)
2. Train your arms at least three times a week
3. Increase the weight you lift slightly every four weeks
4. Track your progress
5. Rest your arms in order to promote growth
